Why are the peas so fucking stupid when it comes to Pinterest? I signed up, got an invite after 4 days, immediately amended my profile and unlinked it from Facebook. Then I added the pin it to my toolbar and started using it all within 10 minutes and not a single thread at the bukkit asking for help. I'm of normal intelligence and it isn't that hard, is everyone else THAT stupid? In weeks I have a grand total of 5 pins, I won't be repinning every shiny object that crosses my screen.
20 - I happen to completely agree with domoo. And I suspect there are many more who feel the exact same way. But "nobody" or lesser tier peas like us don't count so we don't post those thoughts.

Add me to that list too. I'm an old pea, but never post there anymore. I only read the threads that I see people talking about here. Some things never change. Just different players. It's funny how they keep insisting there isn't a hierarchy of peas. I always thought it would be interesting to take a subject that should go wrong for a popular pea, but post it as my own and watch the thread go in an entirely different direction. Hypocrites.

I was actually planning on buying one of her boxes this spring, when cookiegate first started. The peas that had ordered kept going on and on about how good the cookies were, and how there were SO MANY COOKIES and all that jazz. Then, they started posting pics of the boxes...really? It was all amateur crap that anyone can make, nothing really that special at all...and she only included 3 or 4 sugar cookies. That's it. I went to a locally owned homemade items bakery, and got better quality cookies for less than half the price of her crap. Chocolate covered rice crispie bars??? I guess that is the pea version of 'gourmet'
I made her almondine sugar cookie receipe and I threw the whole batch away. I was pissed at the waste. They were GROSS.
1) they were made with a shit ton of shortening, which you could taste in the final product, 2)and the cookie and frosting flavorings were weird, they did not go well together or something, 3) the texture was nothing special.
I have a way better sugar cookie receipe. But I suspect they don't freeze or ship well. ;)

The peas that had ordered kept going on and on about how good the cookies were, and how there were SO MANY COOKIES and all that jazz. Then, they started posting pics of the boxes...really? It was all amateur crap that anyone can make, nothing really that special at all...and she only included 3 or 4 sugar cookies. That's it. I went to a locally owned homemade items bakery, and got better quality cookies for less than half the price of her crap. Chocolate covered rice crispie bars??? I made her almondine sugar cookie receipe and I threw the whole batch away. I was pissed at the waste. They were GROSS.
1) they were made with a shit ton of shortening, which you could taste in the final product, 2)and the cookie and frosting flavorings were weird, they did not go well together or something, 3) the texture was nothing special.

I just can't fathom having thousands of posts on ANY message board. How do these people get anything else done?
I ask because I want to know!
I visit the bukkit and the smack blogs for a few minutes a day, and I still feel like I don't have enough hours in the day to do what I need to do. My house is clean, laundry is done, work is done, children are taken care of, etc.
Which leaves zero time (or energy) for scrapbooking most of the time, and certainly not enough to post 40 or 50 times at the bukkit. (Most of these people with thousands of posts average that a day.)
Crazy.
