The OP posted details of her actual funeral - while I didn't go looking myself, I would logically assume that details of a person's funeral include their FULL name and their geographic location....which means from that any person with ill intent would be able to find her address and a direct line to a grieving family.
The OP does not get a 'pass' for her poor judgment. It is never OK to post someone else's personal details on a public message board. I am also sure if I found Mrs T's or Batya's full name and address and posted them here they would be livid.

I was gone about 3 years, when I came back, but not for the NSBR. Stayed away from that for a long time. I've been back about 6 years or so, maybe? Now I only post on threads I find interesting or fun - pet (but NOT that dog killing nutter!), recipes, hair, makeup, etc.
The Two Peas board has changed a lot over the years. It really did used to be fun, there were some controversial, heated discussions, hair-flips (which frankly, were often pretty damn funny) and flame outs. But, for the most part, things calmed down rather quickly.
Not anymore. A lot of the nicer Peas have moved on. Now being a bitch, antagonistic, argumentative, saying outrageous bitter, nasty and just plain mean things is carried like a badge of honor. She's not trying to get laid. She's trying to get a job. I do think her weight is holding her back. People her size tend to cost more money because they take more sick days, use more health insurance, and there is a perception that fat people are lazy and stupid. At minimum she's going to need a chair at work that is sturdier and more expensive than average. With so many people competing for jobs it's easier to eliminate her and move on to someone who isn't going to cost as much. There is a movement to classify obesity as a disability because then employers would get tax breaks and other financial incentives when they hire an obese person.

I agree with this! Cecelia is a lovely person but her morbid obesity is preventing her from getting a job. I really wish she'd have gastric bypass surgery. She's too young to be that fat! It will cause her ALL kinds of health problems down the road.
The really sad thing is that Cecilia comes from an obese family in a region that is known for being overweight. She really might not think it's anything out of the ordinary.
I grew up in a similar area, and I knew lots of people who were otherwise bright but didn't see anything wrong with being obese or eating unhealthfully because that's what they knew. My sister's best friend is from a fat family. She's 38, weighs close to 400 pounds, and sees nothing wrong with it. "I'm big and beautiful." Half the stuff she posts on Facebook is about crap food--taco pie and tater tot casserole (seriously) and fast food.
Adding to 293: She's the product of a teen pregnancy, had her first at 18, her fourth at 24 + one week. She now has two grandchildren, a three-year-old and a one-year-old. That's what she knows. To her, there's no other way.

Fortunately, I delivered on a Monday, was released from the hospital Wednesday morning, and back at my desk at work Thursday morning. The shower was two weeks later, and was a fantastic break from the daily NICU visits. I was able to take my official maternity leave when they were released. Another thing about having preemies in the NICU- you have the best daycare insurance can buy, and you're somewhat rested and ready to be a parent when they are released.

Not anymore. A lot of the nicer Peas have moved on. Now being a bitch, antagonistic, argumentative, saying outrageous bitter, nasty and just plain mean things is carried like a badge of honor. The phrase "I'm just being honest or real" has taken on a whole new meaning. The reality is, many women are just mean (insert your favorite derogatory slang term for a bitch here). They enjoy it. It's very weird and disgusting.

People her size tend to cost more money because they take more sick days, use more health insurance, and there is a perception that fat people are lazy and stupid. At minimum she's going to need a chair at work that is sturdier and more expensive than average. With so many people competing for jobs it's easier to eliminate her and move on to someone who isn't going to cost as much. There is a movement to classify obesity as a disability because then employers would get tax breaks and other financial incentives when they hire an obese person.

I agree with this! Cecelia is a lovely person but her morbid obesity is preventing her from getting a job. I really wish she'd have gastric bypass surgery. She's too young to be that fat! It will cause her ALL kinds of health problems down the road.
The really sad thing is that Cecilia comes from an obese family in a region that is known for being overweight. She really might not think it's anything out of the ordinary.
I grew up in a similar area, and I knew lots of people who were otherwise bright but didn't see anything wrong with being obese or eating unhealthfully because that's what they knew. My sister's best friend is from a fat family. She's 38, weighs close to 400 pounds, and sees nothing wrong with it. "I'm big and beautiful." Half the stuff she posts on Facebook is about crap food--taco pie and tater tot casserole (seriously) and fast food.
Adding to 293: She's the product of a teen pregnancy, had her first at 18, her fourth at 24 + one week. She now has two grandchildren, a three-year-old and a one-year-old. That's what she knows. To her, there's no other way.

Fortunately, I delivered on a Monday, was released from the hospital Wednesday morning, and back at my desk at work Thursday morning. The shower was two weeks later, and was a fantastic break from the daily NICU visits. I was able to take my official maternity leave when they were released. Another thing about having preemies in the NICU- you have the best daycare insurance can buy, and you're somewhat rested and ready to be a parent when they are released.

I did not have a dog in the fight except to support the customer who felt she had not been treated with respect. Many have come to her defence and in true Pea fashion the "other half" is sitting on "the other" side.

I feel bad for the lady who lost her daughter. Sometime when life kicks your ass you have to kick back that much harder and live every day of your life for two instead of one. People run from someone who is always woe is me and run to people who enjoy life.

Yeah, there's more to the story. The OP in that thread is a grief whore and a drama queen, and after 10 years of it, even her very best and most patient friends have had enough.
There comes a time when coddling and babying is only making a sick person worse. She needs a good kick in the ass, and if that doesn't help, maybe she needs to be committed.
She has to be pretty bad for someone to make a point to not invite her. I can picture her sitting at a celebration saying things like "too bad my daughter will never get to celebrate this" and "I will never get to celebrate this event because my daughter is dead" and making it all about herself.

I think you need to be kicked in the head with a steel toed boot. Then after you've passed out from the pain and finally when you wake up with a concussion and start crying and talking about what happened we can all demand you let it go and not let it consume your day that way.

No one wants to be around someone like that. She has whined for years that most of her friends "abandoned" her after her daughter's death and that only a few people in her life were decent and sticking by her.
Now she has managed to drive those people off, too. I shudder to think of what it must be like to be around her IRL. I'm sure she's worse now that she and her husband are finally divorced. Yeah, she managed to run him off, too.
