While I am sure your attorney friend is the be all end of all of attorney's everywhere she is full of shit if she is unaware the way the game is played. And it is most definitely a game. They push the case forward hoping against hope that they can get a plea agreement. If everyone demands a jury trial,the system would back on itself to where nothing would ever get done. 90% of all arrests end up in dropped cases and plea deals. They will push for a plea deal as long as they can. They are allowed to lie to me. They will try to scare me into taking a plea deal and when that fails they will either have to dismiss the case or take it to a jury. They don't have the evidence to take this in front of a jury. If they get a plea deal, that is considered a conviction and is a win for them. Losing at trial is a risk they are loathe to take. It hurts their win loss record. And I have some cards up my sleeve that they have no idea about. I try not to be over-confidant here but looking at their case-in-chief today was some really good news.

It's embarrassing that we even still have cheerleaders in 2013. I'm not talking about the competitive dancing/gymnastics type cheering - I do understand that that is difficult and I enjoy watching the routines.

On the 500 calorie days, you can't use your calories for wine, processed cookies, snack packs, etc. The point is to eat whole, nutrient dense foods. You also need to watch what you eat on the other 5 days, you can't just binge, then not eat for 2 days. Unfortunately, the peas will give a half-assed try, then claim it doesn't work, and go back to their crappy eating.

Convenience foods have there place on the occasion that you have a more on your plate than usual, like a family member is in the hospital and you are having an unexpected strain on your time. But for most, normal week everyone has busy weeks, everyone knows that you are going to have a busy week so PLAN AHEAD. Convenience foods are for when something unexpected comes up, something you could not have planned ahead for. Baseball season and piano recitals are known about ahead of time.

I grew up watching her eat and she never cooked worth a shit. When I got married I had to teach myself to cook and let me tell ya, those were pre-internet days and those first few meals weren't that tasty or healthful. But now? I know what I'm doing, my kids eat healthy food and my husband and I all 4 of our kids are normal healthy weight even though the genetics on both sides of our families have rampant obesity and neither one of our mothers could cook for shit.

They push the case forward hoping against hope that they can get a plea agreement. If everyone demands a jury trial,the system would back on itself to where nothing would ever get done. 90% of all arrests end up in dropped cases and plea deals. They will push for a plea deal as long as they can. They are allowed to lie to me. They will try to scare me into taking a plea deal and when that fails they will either have to dismiss the case or take it to a jury. They don't have the evidence to take this in front of a jury. If they get a plea deal, that is considered a conviction and is a win for them. Losing at trial is a risk they are loathe to take. It hurts their win loss record. And I have some cards up my sleeve that they have no idea about. I try not to be over-confidant here but looking at their case-in-chief today was some really good news.

I don't care for Chopped Liver's daughter's makeup either. It's really not well done. It's covering up a pretty girl, not enhancing her features as good make up should. My daughter dances, and they do have to wear makeup to not look washed out under the lights of a 2,000 person auditorium. But that's just bad makeup, and I know I've seen quite a bit of it.

The study also identifies the need for more research into the potential advantages of vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy, Medical News Today said. Previous studies have suggested that low levels of vitamin D during pregnancy can result in gestational diabetes, preeclampsia and low birth weight in newborns.
And another study, published in the journal Neurology last year, indicated that higher levels of vitamin D during pregnancy could later prevent multiple sclerosis in mothers.
For the JAMA study, blood samples were taken from the umbilical cords of 50 babies born in November and 50 babies born in May. Researchers looked at levels of vitamin D and levels of autoreactive T-cells in the babies’ blood.
T-cells are the white blood cells that help the body’s immune system attack infectious agents like viruses. However, when T-cells are autoreactive, they attack the body’s healthy cells, causing autoimmune diseases.
The blood tests indicated that babies born in May had significantly lower levels of vitamin D and higher levels of autoreactive T-cells, compared to babies born in November, Medical News Today said.
Study co-author Dr. Sreeram Ramagopalan, a lecturer in neuroscience at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, part of Queen Mary, concluded:

On the 500 calorie days, you can't use your calories for wine, processed cookies, snack packs, etc. The point is to eat whole, nutrient dense foods. You also need to watch what you eat on the other 5 days, you can't just binge, then not eat for 2 days. Unfortunately, the peas will give a half-assed try, then claim it doesn't work, and go back to their crappy eating.

I agree about the non-cooking peas. Convenience foods have there place on the occasion that you have a more on your plate than usual, like a family member is in the hospital and you are having an unexpected strain on your time. But for most, normal week everyone has busy weeks, everyone knows that you are going to have a busy week so PLAN AHEAD. Convenience foods are for when something unexpected comes up, something you could not have planned ahead for. Baseball season and piano recitals are known about ahead of time.

I grew up watching her eat and she never cooked worth a shit. When I got married I had to teach myself to cook and let me tell ya, those were pre-internet days and those first few meals weren't that tasty or healthful. But now?
