_____________

Don't forget that there's a whole lot of peas who agree with and defend Skynut and her ideology.

That's even more scary crazy.

Wow. I'm having a serious "light bulb" moment here:

This Pea that is defending Michael Vick:

"All I know is that I had Vick on one of my fantasy football teams last year and I kicked ass all season.

Seriously. Give it up. It is over. Move along. "

She is married to a black man.

I would guess that her rabid defense of MV is not so surprising.

Lauren, is that you? Because it surely sounds like something you (or maybe one of your fellow Klan members) would say.

Having someone use an old thread against Yubon is deliciously ironic.

Forget #7, where's Jane?

It is not in the corporations’ interest to have an informed, educated electorate. Voters might stop voting against their own interests.

Which explains Skybar (and friends).

196...that makes no sense

I think it is more than that #211. I grew up in the South and have had shoved down my throat from childhood, mine was the first generation to be non-segregated, that ALL SOUTHERNERS ARE RACIST and I should have "white guilt" and apologize for it always and transplanted non-southerners like Mid-westerners who seem to be the first to make an obvious racist comment "unknowingly" , tar baby for instance.

Since I have actually gone to school with, worked with and lived next to minorities my entire existence in the South, I pretty much think if anyone from my generation and geographic area that were to write what the white, right, corn-fed mid-westerners, northerners or Mormon racists write about Obama and minorities couched in Christian terms in their daily political rants on the pod, they would have them banned by that uber-cunt Jaime for being racist after they had a rabid pile-on.

Of course, considering that most of them have seldom seen a minority any place but television much less personally interacted with one, what can you expect?

As far as Skybar is concerned, it is all about the religious cray cray on those Crist-shun TV networks and they just happen to have a seriously insane political agenda kinda like the Islamic extremist Taliban because they really, really HATE women that have power over their lives and are not controlled by a man.

Did we ever figure out who GiaRenee was originally?

#216, she is making fun of the poster on this thread:

Some idiot said doing elective selective reduction abortions on twins was like "Sophie's Choice."

Unless someone has some data that proves it, I doubt it is something commonly done and both Slate and Jezebel aren't exactly known for their strong reporting. I place them on par with People Magazine with the 'truth in reporting.'

This is so, so true.

And that stuff about the South being less racist than some of the midwestern, right-wing fundies? meh. You've got plenty of corn-fed midwestern racists like MissAng, but overall, I still think it's worse in the south-much as I hate to say it. I grew up in the South, lived in the Midwest for a few years, and now live in a different southern state than the one I grew up on. This hellhole is a hotbed of racism. Bad, bad shit still goes on-some of it very blatant, and a whole hell of a lot of it is thinly veiled. It's disgusting.
