She's super tall and a very big girl so she could easily weigh 300 pounds even if she doesn't look like it. Well obviously she's already past that point and is doing just fine. She just ran a half marathon for god's sake.
I feel horrible for her because obviously she must still look big even though she's lost a ton and is healthy now. It sounds like she is very tall which I'm sure is part of it, and she probably had a bulky winter coat on, etc.
BUT my guess is they didn't exactly call her "fat". I'm guessing she was very sensitive about whatever they said (and obviously they did a shitty job with customer service to make her feel that way) and might've exaggerated the actual wording a bit to her friend. Or maybe not - maybe the friend is the one that is exaggerating the wording to add a little extra spice to the story.
I just feel like the chance that someone at the massage place said "You're too fat for a massage" is extremely slim.

I feel horrible for her because obviously she must still look big even though she's lost a ton and is healthy now. It sounds like she is very tall which I'm sure is part of it, and she probably had a bulky winter coat on, etc.
BUT my guess is they didn't exactly call her "fat". I'm guessing she was very sensitive about whatever they said (and obviously they did a shitty job with customer service to make her feel that way) and might've exaggerated the actual wording a bit to her friend. And they do not call them up later with explanations of any kind for why it did not make the cut. Those decisions are made on the fly by show production teams. Thus easy deniability all the way around for people like fat girl who claim it was taken up by the TV station.
Reminds me of the Holiday Inn/Autistic boy story...the peas went CRAZY over it, then it just died down, and the hotel never did issue any kind of statement. The family in that story didn't want to get involved either, some pea hear about it, and took off with the story.

The peas just keep saying the massage owner called her fat and she left crying and the owner didn't do anything. How do they even know that's what happened? Maybe the owner did say they couldn't accomodate her size (without saying you are fat!) and then the lady left and had her feelings hurt and cried. Ok, I don't blame her for having her feelings hurt but that doesn't mean the owner was rude or mean or called her fat and didn't care that she cried. She may not have even realized that the lady was butt hurt until she had her FB blown up by comments.
I really think the fat woman just blew this out of proportion but of course the peas aren't happy unless they can "bring someone down" and yet they think us blog bitches are mean.
