I hate the peas who always whine and "feel sad" when someone mentions they had some trees cut down. I live in VA surrounded by trees and mountains. Cutting down a few trees that are ruining my property is no reason to cry. We just had 8 cut down and I couldn't be happier. They were too close to my house. When I say close, I'm talking 2 or 3 feet from my actual house! They were ruining our roof, our siding and making everything dirty. Not to mention how many ants and bugs were around and bird poop. If the peas want to come and deal with all of that everyday and rake up about 2 feet deep leaves in my backyard a million times a year, then come on over. Until then STFU.

Movie theaters moved out of my price range a long time ago. We go maybe once or twice a year. We buy our popcorn and drinks there, we don't eat candy there. The popcorn is filling enough, I don't think anyone of us has ever ordered candy there. And we always get the large tub of popcorn with free refills and all share it. We get at least 2 refills usually. And I take lunch sacks with me and give one to each kid so we don't have to worry about who is holding the tub. We are cheap. Usually get 3 large drinks with free refills and 2 people share one. And we still end up spending like $80 for a movie.

I would never sneak drinks or candy into a movie theater. They don't make money on ticket sales, so concessions is their only means to make money.
So what about people that just don't buy snacks? Should they not go to movie theaters because they aren't supporting the theater with their lack of purchases?
What if the theater closes because they can't make a profit? How much further will you need to drive to see a movie?
I'll stay honest and not sneak in snacks or drinks.
We buy popcorn and soda at the theater but sneak in candy. Our theater will go out of business only half as slowly, thank God. Hell will freeze over and pigs will fly before I pay eight fucking dollars for a box of Reese's Pieces at the Carmike.
About a mile. But if movie theaters were banking on the amount of times I visit they would have closed years ago. I see about three movies in the theater a year.
Movie theaters moved out of my price range a long time ago. We go maybe once or twice a year. We buy our popcorn and drinks there, we don't eat candy there. The popcorn is filling enough, I don't think anyone of us has ever ordered candy there. And we always get the large tub of popcorn with free refills and all share it. We get at least 2 refills usually. And I take lunch sacks with me and give one to each kid so we don't have to worry about who is holding the tub. We are cheap. Usually get 3 large drinks with free refills and 2 people share one. And we still end up spending like $80 for a movie.

I don't devote my life to it like they do about Lauren.
My kids' field trips consist of traveling to the places we are learning about whenever possible. And their science classes aren't being taught by the basketball coach. They also aren't limited to the least common denominator dragging them down. Their education isn't dependent on what the slowest person in their age group can handle. And they don't have to play the Russian Roulette every year of possibly getting the bad teacher, say the Mrs. Tyler types.
Not everyone should homeschool, but there are plenty of reasons that make it a good choice for some families.

Pretty stupid if you ask me. Love me some gays, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be married to a man who was gay and had only been with men his entire life.
