18 - I'll remember not to knit you a pair of socks or anything else for that matter. An experienced knitter wouldn't spend 40 hours on a pair of socks (it takes me a total of 8 hours maybe to do a pair of adult size ones, less for kids/babies).
I will say some of the craft-sharing threads are not always well done, but I do admire some of the quilting ones simply because I cannot do one that large.
Hand knit socks are amazing, and I would love it if someone gave me a pair they made. They are not an easy project, not super inexpensive to make, and so much nicer than those disgusting $1 socks that the poster(s?) here seem to wear.

Ok, I'll try to make this brief and I'm only telling it because of the poster who seemed sincere when she asked.
Yes, it is true that at the age of 15 my mother approved me dating a 20 year-old man. At the time my parents were getting their first divorce (they married and divorced each other 3 times and that is a completely different story and is completely fucked up). So shortly after I started dating let's call him D, my mother moved out and left me to live on my own. In many ways D took care of me, he cooked for me, kept me company, etc. So there I was, a 15-year-old with no parental supervision and no adult to know what was going on. He came over and cooked me dinner one night and got me drunk for the first time. He used that to his advantage. He had been telling me how mature I was blah, blah, classic crap that older guys use to get a young one. He was grooming me to get what he wanted. And when he was done with me he dumped me for being "immature". Now maybe that sounds like normal to some of you but as a 20 year-old there is no way I would have been attracted to a 15 year-old and I certainly don't think it is ok to take advantage of a teenager who is obviously experiencing some difficulties in her family life. But that was what made it possible for him to do this and he took full advantage.
I'm not perfect, but I have never taken advantage of a kid. And there is no way on this earth I would let any of my kids be in a situation such as this. It isn't something I dwell on but as an adult, I know that what he did was wrong.

18 - I'll remember not to knit you a pair of socks or anything else for that matter. An experienced knitter wouldn't spend 40 hours on a pair of socks (it takes me a total of 8 hours maybe to do a pair of adult size ones, less for kids/babies).
I will say some of the craft-sharing threads are not always well done, but I do admire some of the quilting ones simply because I cannot do one that large.

Ok, I'll try to make this brief and I'm only telling it because of the poster who seemed sincere when she asked.
Yes, it is true that at the age of 15 my mother approved me dating a 20 year-old man. At the time my parents were getting their first divorce (they married and divorced each other 3 times and that is a completely different story and is completely fucked up). So shortly after I started dating let's call him D, my mother moved out and left me to live on my own. In many ways D took care of me, he cooked for me, kept me company, etc. So there I was, a 15-year-old with no parental supervision and no adult to know what was going on. He came over and cooked me dinner one night and got me drunk for the first time. He used that to his advantage. He had been telling me how mature I was blah, blah, classic crap that older guys use to get a young one. He was grooming me to get what he wanted. And when he was done with me he dumped me for being "immature". Now maybe that sounds like normal to some of you but as a 20 year-old there is no way I would have been attracted to a 15 year-old and I certainly don't think it is ok to take advantage of a teenager who is obviously experiencing some difficulties in her family life. But that was what made it possible for him to do this and he took full advantage.
I'm not perfect, but I have never taken advantage of a kid. And there is no way on this earth I would let any of my kids be in a situation such as this. It isn't something I dwell on but as an adult, I know that what he did was wrong.
I don't think anyone asked about your dating history. Someone asked if you were arrested again, a yes/no question.
