36 - Thank you for the apology, but it didn't bother me because I've heard low things before. I'm still not a fraud. Two Peas is a scrapbooking site. Often on a layout a person will have actual pictures of people in their families. There may also be other identifying information. I don't go to great lengths to hide anything about myself. The only interest I have is protecting underage grandchildren.
People can go ahead and post my entire family history if they have nothing better to do. Seems like a lot of interest for a person who is "insane." I'll tell you why I'm "degrading" as you call it. I call it harsh. Because I've seen the damage done to hundreds, if not thousands of children who have been on the receiving end of abuse and bullying, mostly from parents. It destroys lives. When you try to fight a bully by being polite and following certain rules you get nowhere because that is not the language that bullies speak.
There is a way to fight harshly without hitting below the belt. You can attack someone's behavior harshly if that behavior is designed to degrade or tear someone down. Writing is behavior. Also, if someone makes a statement that is based completely on ignorance and they are clearly more interested in preserving their ego, that too is open to attack. What you call bullying I call pushing back.
I always read content and determine the motive behind it. I don't ever "attack" if someone states something out of unwillfull ignorance. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out what the motive behind most writing is. You can easily tell when someone is writing something with the intent of degrading rather than informing. Then I "attack", as you say. I suppose I could politely respond, "Oh fiddlesticks, I just don't quite see it that way." That doesn't work. A metaphorical slap in the face works. Whatever the reaction is, it doesn't matter - the receiver has been called out on what is clearly manipulative, bullying behavior. The only caveat I can add is that you have to be in the right when bullying a bully. I know I'm in the right because if you defend truth and justice you are never wrong. If that sounds like superhero talk, so be it. I've fought for the rights of abused kids my whole life and I have nothing to apologize for. In the rare instance I inadvertently offend an innocent person, I chalk it up on the great chalkboard of life to error and the fact that better an adult suck it up than a child. I never intentionally attack anyone who doesn't show bullying tendencies. Besides, this is a smack site. There is nothing wrong with legitimate smack. We've all been on the receiving end of shit in life and want recourse. Unfortunately this site has diminished to the point where it's a handful of bullies calling each other fucking cunt and not actually smacking actual points of contention. Often on a layout a person will have actual pictures of people in their families. There may also be other identifying information. I don't go to great lengths to hide anything about myself. The only interest I have is protecting underage grandchildren.

I'll tell you why I'm "degrading" as you call it. I call it harsh. Because I've seen the damage done to hundreds, if not thousands of children who have been on the receiving end of abuse and bullying, mostly from parents. It destroys lives. When you try to fight a bully by being polite and following certain rules you get nowhere because that is not the language that bullies speak.
There is a way to fight harshly without hitting below the belt. You can attack someone's behavior harshly if that behavior is designed to degrade or tear someone down. Writing is behavior. Also, if someone makes a statement that is based completely on ignorance and they are clearly more interested in preserving their ego, that too is open to attack. What you call bullying I call pushing back.
I always read content and determine the motive behind it. I don't ever "attack" if someone states something out of unwillfull ignorance. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out what the motive behind most writing is. You can easily tell when someone is writing something with the intent of degrading rather than informing. Then I "attack", as you say. I suppose I could politely respond, "Oh fiddlesticks, I just don't quite see it that way." That doesn't work. A metaphorical slap in the face works. Whatever the reaction is, it doesn't matter - the receiver has been called out on what is clearly manipulative, bullying behavior. The only caveat I can add is that you have to be in the right when bullying a bully. I know I'm in the right because if you defend truth and justice you are never wrong. If that sounds like superhero talk, so be it. I've fought for the rights of abused kids my whole life and I have nothing to apologize for. In the rare instance I inadvertently offend an innocent person, I chalk it up on the great chalkboard of life to error and the fact that better an adult suck it up than a child. I never intentionally attack anyone who doesn't show bullying tendencies. Besides, this is a smack site. There is nothing wrong with legitimate smack. The tractor/equipment on top is real cake and looks awesome. If that's what they requested then it's fine.
