It always amazes me how many people on 2 peas have had weight loss surgery. I know a lot of people, and I know one person irl who had weight loss surgery. It also amazes my how many people congratulate weireight loss surgery patients on their "hard work".
I get that taking the surgical route to lose weight isn't "easy", but I don't buy that it's "hard work".
Lauren will gain her weight back. Said to say, but you know it's true. She's got the kind of personality that won't be able to eat in moderation over the long haul.
She's so ugly on the inside that it doesn't really make any difference what she looks like on the outside, anyway.

A co-worker and I went to a brand new (Had been open less than a week) Pho restaurant for lunch. The first thing I noticed was that most people (Not very many) in the place were drinking water. When they asked what we wanted to drink, I asked for Diet Coke. They said they didn't have any and didn't have anything else diet, so I asked for iced tea. The brought me Green Tea, which would have been okay, but they didn't have any Sweet N Low, .
The food was pretty good, but nothing special. When we were finished, they brought our check. It was for $18. On the door as you walked in, there were CC's listed that they accept stuck on the door. They accepted Visa, which is what we were going to use. We handed them the CC and they left. When they came back they said, "I'm sorry, our CC processor is down." My co-worker said, "I'm sorry, all I have is $11 in cash." The waiter looked at the manager and said, "That's okay, we'll take it." LOL ____________________________
Yeah not every dining experience is going to be like going to Applebees. duh.

That said, I find the attacks on her appearance tasteless and outright mean.
A lady I worked with had the surgery and the loss of nutrients caused her hair to thin horribly and become very fine and brittle. She said it was a very common side effect of the surgery and was told it could be permanent.
I don't understand why people would rather risk death and untold complications than just get their asses on a diet and exercise plan.
