grinning cat is going for Yubon title of outspokeness:

"Designer and plus size do not go hand in hand. Designers are not interested in making fat chicks look good, just humiliating them with ugly clothes. Sorry, I do not think there is any such thing as designer heans for plus size gals, or at least ones that aren't grotesquely ugly because the designers amuse themselves by humiliating fat people."

I wish someone would tell them that after size 10 no one looks good in jeans. It's an unflattering fabric on wide asses and bumper thighs.

ok but we're not in Venezuela. What's the point in having pipes that can handle it then?

198- I feel the same way about busypea (add in know-it-all and snob to that description).

Meh, I'm beyond a size 10 and I know I don't look "good" in anything. That's a fact that comes with being in double digits. But I'm still going to wear jeans because they are comfortable and go with everything. I mean it's not like I think I look hot, kwim? But I'm not going to suffer in something else that I hate or that is uncomfortable just because I don't look like a size 4 girl does in jeans. I'm going to wear jeans because until I lose the weight, I might as well be comfortable and not extra-miserable wearing some other whack material.

Let me guess, you can spend money on a fucking dye job at the salon but you can't spend $200 for a small safe to lock your gun in so no child is killed?

----------------

Uh, no, I don't have a gun in my house because I'm not an uneducated country hick from the South that thinks they need a gun in their house for some dumbass reason.

How much weight did 2peafaithful lose? See the whole extra skin thing is what I'm afraid of. I have 60 pounds to lose. Really 50 would put me in a good range but I want to go for 60 to be truly happy with my body. Except I'm petrified of hanging skin. Like is it even worth it? That is so....not hot. and I don't have the money to be having plastic surgery to get the skin removed. I mean my DH doesn't mind my curviness, it's me that does...and I do want to lose it and be skinny. But will he be turned off by the excess skin? Damn it, it sounds so stupid but I am seriously being held back from losing weight because of my fear of excess skin. I think kate gosselin showing her extra tummy pouch traumatized me forever. I mean it was brave of her to do, but it freaked me out from losing weight.

I've seen larger women look ok in jeans if the color chosen is dark, not too tight, with an even finish. (no fading)

To 193, do you love your husband though, and just aren't in love with him right now? Do you think you could "get" in love with him? Or was it never possible and you are just staying for the children?
Have you always been bored with your marriage.

er no it would not be like keeping diapers in a pail. But keeping diapers in a pail WOULD be like a grown adult taking a dumps and pissing in a pail and keeping that around the house. Guess what, we have this wonderful thing called plumbing for a reason. I have a septic and it handles the thinner papers just fine. You just can't put great wads of charmin or rags down there. doofus.

6 stop trying to talk yourself out of the hard work of losing weight. You will always be coming up with a different excuse. If it's not saggy skin, it will be, "hubby won't love me anymore because I'm not curvy". Only people who lose weight suddenly get the really saggy skin.

I don't know, 212...my friend lost about 70 pounds over the span of two years through diet and exercise and she has flabby skin at her stomach and hips. It's not the same amount you see with people who have surgery and lose weight in a couple of months but it's still enough to bother her.

She's annoyed by it but told me that it's better than her dying young due to complications from obesity, so there you go.

Why do we rush to get married in our 20s when we don't even know what the fuck we're doing yet?
=============================
Speak for yourself, some of us had enough sense not to do that nor did I pop out a bunch of kids to some guy I hate.
Take some responsibility for making poor decisions and fucking up your life.

I live in NYC and own a gun. It's kept in a small safe. I'm not an uneducated country hick, so I take offense to your statement. Here's your cunt title, wear it in pride.

Why do people always think their dreams are interesting? They are not interesting to anyone but yourself. They also mean diddly squat, they have NO meanings, just a bunch of messed up memories from the last few days or weeks.
There is nothing more boring than someone who want to tell you all about their dreams. I'd rather stick a fork in my eye.
