I know a lot of people who start working at 12 and 14, graduate early and a hell of a lot of female attorneys who quit to stay home. Yes, it's called real life. That's why it doesn't come across as satire. Because it's too close to real life, not believable as satire, not funny. Too true to a lot of truth.
