The store I shop out only has two cart corrals up at the front of the lot. Most of the time you aren't going to find a spot near them. It also has areas where they've planted trees with curbs around them throughout the lot.
Pretty much everyone leave's their carts propped up against the curbs. The carts aren't going to roll anywhere and ding anyone's cars.
When I see someone pushing a cart back to the corral in the rain or snow I don't think, "Oh, now that one's not lazy" I think "I wonder which panty twisted, pearl clutching, stick up the ass pea" she is.
