Not always...my parents paid for mine, but it came with rules. I had to take so many credits a semester, my GPA had to stay above a certain number, I had to have a part time job, no trouble withe the law (speeding tickets, minor, etc). I love Halloween and I Loooooooove costumes.
I'll spend $50-75 on each costume and tend to buy 3-4 per child for various Halloween events. My kids also wear costumes throughout the year, for example, if we go to a Disney live show they will wear a Disney costume, to the circus they will wear a clown or ring master costume, to the Pirate Festival they'll wear a pirate costume.
DH and I dress up for Halloween, too.
I figure it is something cute and fun that they will only do when they are little so I really want to enjoy it.

I had to take so many credits a semester, my GPA had to stay above a certain number, I had to have a part time job, no trouble withe the law (speeding tickets, minor, etc). Laura Bush looks like she is a member of the Mother's Little Helper Pill Party with the complete druggie stare. So, I guess all those beatings by the cocaine fueled alcoholic "Shrub" were made better by the little yellow pill and explains the "party girl" daughters.

How in the world do they have time for all of this? (LOL, I sound like that other thread). But seriously, how do they? I always manage to get things done during the day but I still feel like I spend too much time online and I KNOW it's probably about 1/4 of the time most of the peas spend online. How do they do it? They must completely ignore their husbands and kids and never sleep.

It's not always too much time on your hands for all people at home. But eventually you are going to have a day that isn't "super packed". I think some of it is that those who can't stay home are a bit envious of those who can. Not all, but some wish they could but can't for financial reasons. Both sides have good and bad to it.
All of the people I know who stay home with their kids do so because they can't afford daycare, has nothing to do with *financial freedom*

I am a papercraft product whore. With some crazy bad timing. I just my first PTI order in years a few weeks ago, and am dealing with horrendous customer service of my own. Why, oh why, did I not listen?
The allure of their pretty stamps smacked the good sense out of me.
Won't happen again. I bought a few used sets from some members, but won't be giving PTI another dime of my money. They really ticked me off with the way they've handled (or not handled) this situation.
