She probably IS addicted and obsessed to running and her marathons. My roommate from college is. She ran for miles and miles every day, even after college when she had a FT job and a side business. Which is fine but she freaks if she can't do her usual routine each day. She'll do it at 2am if she has to.
Anyway whatever, but then she went for years and years not being able to get pregnant. She didn't even have periods she was so obsessed with the running and eating specific things and specific #s of ounces of those things at specific times to optimize her running.
They spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to get pregnant and the doctors were all like, you need to stop this running so obsessively and eating so obsessively. It is preventing you from having a baby. But she could not do it. Even though she'd cry constantly about not being able to get pregnant and even though they spent a fortune at the specialists' office. She could not let go of the running addiction.
Now I fully admit I'm overweight and lazier than most, but at least I have some moderation and perspective. I'd rather be like this than be like her. Even though she looks better in a bathing suit than me. :)

She probably IS addicted and obsessed to running and her marathons. My roommate from college is. She ran for miles and miles every day, even after college when she had a FT job and a side business. Which is fine but she freaks if she can't do her usual routine each day. She'll do it at 2am if she has to.
Anyway whatever, but then she went for years and years not being able to get pregnant. She didn't even have periods she was so obsessed with the running and eating specific things and specific #s of ounces of those things at specific times to optimize her running.
They spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to get pregnant and the doctors were all like, you need to stop this running so obsessively and eating so obsessively. It is preventing you from having a baby. But she could not do it. Even though she'd cry constantly about not being able to get pregnant and even though they spent a fortune at the specialists' office.
She could not let go of the running addiction.
Now I fully admit I'm overweight and lazier than most, but at least I have some moderation and perspective. I'd rather be like this than be like her. Even though she looks better in a bathing suit than me. :)
