I am so fucking sick of this shit. I'm a SAHM. I've learned that if someone asks me why I want to be a SAHM, I need to say it's because I'm lazy and don't want to work. Any of the real reasons I say are twisted into me "being judgemental and mean toward working moms". So, yes, to all you martyr working moms, I stay at home with my kids because I am lazy and don't want to get a job, and I have no back up in case I get divorced or something happens to my DH. (please ignore the bank account in my name only, and the yearly land payments in my name only, and the weekly e-mails from my former boss where we keep in touch and she can either give me a job or help me find one if I need)
2peafaithful continued to be a SAHM after her divorce for many years. I think her parents supported her. It boggles me that she could meet a man that was willing to take on her non-working self and marry her.
I disagree that Kitty is vying for attention. From the first pictures of that child, she was different than the others. The others have a sweet and angelic expression. Kitty was mischief all the way. She doesn't look like the siblings, nor appear to act like them.
She's got a bit of wild child that actually may be the one thing that helps her survive in a big Mormon family. I wager that she will not fall into the marry-by-18-to-a-good-mission-boy norm. She will make her own rules. I wouldn't have the patience to parent her, but I think her streak of wild and independence will allow her to escape that typical life. Go Kitty!
And I am not putting down Mormon women here. I actually envy their sense of home, family, and friendships. I just think Kitty will have the tenacity to choose if it is for her or not.
I completely agree with Edgy Coolness about not understanding the need to have clown car vagina. Aren't there enough fucking people on planet? Seriously, more than 3 is too damn many.
