Thena's poems are ridic. Her stupid book only got published because it was back in the height of the scrapbooking craze and before the economy tanked. Scrappers were spending money like mad on all scrap supplies, including books and magazines. Any idea book related to scrapbooking was getting published, including her horrendous poems.

I think Pudgy's vacation sounds amazing. It's definitely not for me--I like to stay in nice hotels and eat at nice restaurants--but I admire and envy their sense of adventure!
Is Pudge and fam going to be resting in hostels or inns every night, or will they be wandering out in the wilderness? If it's the former, the kid should be ok, especially if she's in good health.
With the latter I'd be a little concerned. But more about banditi than anything else.
