Most of the peas posting on the Israel thread don't have a fucking clue as to the history of that region. I don't think most of them had that much education and even if they did, they can't discuss it intelligently. More knee jerk pro Israeli reactions.
Israel has been absolutely brutal in its treatment of Palestinians. They treat the Arab Israelis at best as second-class citizens and if they want to have lasting peace, they are going to have get their boots off the necks of the Palestinians. Both sides are going to have to give a little. The settlements in the occupied territories are illegal and Israel knows it.
Ugg, I know I need more education in world matters, but the Israel thread just makes me even more confused. I need to find some neutral information source to read up on this.
From the wedding thread: Our best man stole a ton of money from us at the buck and doe. Then he got into a fight with my son's father. My son's step mother was my bridesmaid and didn't bother to show up at the wedding.
Everyone was mad at the best man at our wedding and he was totally ignored by the wedding party. He said that I owed him a dance, I told him to go f*ck himself. I believe the maid of honor told him the same thing. Then he ripped into the wait staff for taking his drinks. They weren't. He also tried to take over the music.
The my husband told my mother in law that we were going to have great sex in the huge bathtub in our room. I about killed him.
Oh, and my mother in law trashed me to my maid of honor at my bachlorette party. Fun times.
I'm now separated and waiting for april 1st 2012 so I can file.

It was obviously someone looking to start drama. FWIW, her DH is also on FB and even commented on some of it. She left the pod for like a year because she was getting called all kinds of names. I PM'd her afterward to tell her I was sorry for what was being said about her and she said that people trying to demean her marriage was upsetting her.
I'm still on her FB and she seems to have a really close-knit family, and she and her DH seem to have a really strong marriage.

Mrs. Tyler pisses me off. My DH and I raised our DD in a private school and had a similar approach to Mrs. T in regards to parenting.
In high school my DD decides to rebel BIG time. She's always had a strong personality and we helped guide her and raise her but some kids are gonna do what they want. Doesn't mean I'm a bad parent.
