I would speculate that the groom has an ulterior motive. I attended one destination wedding which was a destination wedding so that the husband's white trash relatives could not afford to attend. It was mean and totally on purpose and I thought it was brilliant. No one got drunk, threw up, or got in a fight. It was a beautiful wedding and a nice vacation.

I think in general the location weddings are in places that are not as cheap as Kansas. I flight to Wisconsin and a hotel there is going to in general be cheaper than Hawaii or St Croix.
I would speculate that the groom has an ulterior motive. I attended one destination wedding which was a destination wedding so that the husband's white trash relatives could not afford to attend. It was mean and totally on purpose and I thought it was brilliant. No one got drunk, threw up, or got in a fight. It was a beautiful wedding and a nice vacation.

My issue with DumbAngel is what she posts not how she posts. She is an ignoramus. She doesn't give her kids ipods, cell phones and the like because she can't afford to. She doesn't dress her kids in labels because she can't afford to.
